The Director-General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Oluwatoyin Gafaar, has charged, Team Lagos ahead of the sixth edition of National Youth Games, scheduled to begin this Wednesday in Kwara State.
Speaking to the Athletes and the Officials of Team Lagos before they departed for Ilorin, Mr Oluwatoyin Gafaar said “ I want to appreciate everyone of you for your effort so far.
“We all must be good ambassadors as we represent the good people of Lagos State. We all are behind you but you must putting your best and let your performance speak for you.”
Team Lagos left their camp in Lagos yesterday to Ilorin, as they rounded up preparations for the Youth Games, where they will be slugging it out for glory in about 31 sporting event.
