WWE star Drew McIntyre has blasted West Ham United footballer Kurt Zouma over his cat-kicking video.
The 27-year-old footballer’s cats have been seized by the RSPCA on Wednesday and he has been fined around £250,000 by his club following the emergence of a distressing video earlier this week, and the former WWE Champion weighed in after the clip went viral on social media.
In a quote retweet sharing the video, the Scottish heavyweight – who has a cat of his own – wrote before the fine was announced: ‘I’m struggling to put into words how I feel about this distressing footage.
‘Truly disgusting actions from Kurt Zouma who is meant to be a role model. No helpless animal should ever be subject to abuse like this. I would like to know how @WestHam plan to punish these actions?’
