Africa had 5 representatives – Ghana, Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal and Cameroon but off the pitch, so many African countries were well represented at the mundial.
Despite the Super Eagles missing, the Nigeria’s green and white is one of the most flown colours in Qatar. Nigerian artiste Davido was a part of the tournament’s theme song. Kizz Daniel and Patoranking were among the A-list singers that came to thrill fans at different times as the tournament progressed.
