African teams at the ongoing FIFA U17 World Cup in Indonesia have fallen to defeats in the second round of matches at the tournamnet. Senegal, Mali and Morocco had started the tournament on a bright note after comfortably grabbing three points on opening match day.
Burkina Faso had been the only African side to lose its opening game after being thrashed by France 3-0. Morocco and Mali also followed the steps of the West Africans as they lost thier secind round games to Ecuador and spain respectively.
Mali lost 1-0 to Spain with star man Mamadou Doumbia getting a red card in the 40th minute while Morocco lost 2-0 to Ecuador on the night.
The losses brings the total number of losses for African team to three.
African champions, Senegal are to face their opponents Poland today by 10am while Burkina Faso will look to revive against high flying United States.
